This contract is for the completion of design, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a new inlet works at Spine Road, Batemens Bay.
The Works under this Contract include the supply of all materials, plant, equipment and labour required for the completion of the following:
• an inlet works incorporating a mechanical step screen, a manual screen, grit arrestor with grit
• classifier, septic effluent receival and refrigerated sampling facility
• an odour control system
• an electrical switchboard within an outdoor shelter
• an uninterruptible power supply switchboard within the same outdoor shelter
• a septic effluent electrical switchboard for the septic effluent sampling/monitoring facility
• an optical fibre ring communication system to link the switchboards for telemetry
• extension of the existing telemetry system to include the new inlet works
• a concrete hardstand, road and drainage works
• pipework
• a flow divider to control the flows to the reactors and to the storm detention pond
• discharge pit for rising main from Spine Road PS
• permanent and temporary fencing, hinged gates, sliding gate
The existing treatment plant is fully operational during the construction period, under the control of Council.
